Absztrakt

This paper is an edited version of a presentation given at a conference in memory of the prosecutor László Nánási. The reason for the choice of the topic is that László Nánási himself dealt with the history of the prosecution of the Soviet-type dictatorship in several studies. The prosecution itself and its activities and the organisation in the Soviet-style dictatorship in Hungary were created based on the Soviet model, completely breaking with the previous institution and organisation of the prosecutor's office in the Hungarian tradition. The prosecution of the Soviet-style dictatorship served the interests of terror and operated according to the instructions of the Party. The guidelines of Andrei Y. Vyshinsky, the prosecutor general of the Soviet Union, were followed as a model. The prosecution of the Soviet-style dictatorship in Hungary bears a heavy responsibility for the concept trials, which, although far fewer than before, were still going on in the 1970s and 1980s.
