Absztrakt

The Dósa family was a dedicated Calvinist family of educators and teachers with a long tradition, who gave Transylvania many learned theologians and lawyers. At the same time, they also made their mark in the teaching of statistics and mathematics. Gergely Dósa, Elek and Miklós Dósa, and Gábor Vályi are credited with the entire history of legal education in Târgu Mures. With Miklós Dósa (and Gábor Vályi), 'the legal branch' died out due to a series of private tragedies. However, in the work of Elek Dósa, his thematic and methodological perspectives were carried forward and developed by one of his students, Sándor Kolosváry, not only through his historical approach to the cultivation of law, but also, like his teacher, through his role in the church, and his program of academic research and systematization of Reformed church law.
