A sertéságazat szerkezeti változásai és versenyképességi kihívásai globális és uniós szinten

Absztrakt
A tanulmány célja a sertéságazat strukturális és piaci átalakulásainak elemzése globális és európai uniós szinten, különös tekintettel a termelési, fogyasztási és külkereskedelmi folyamatok alakulására. Az eredmények alapján megállapítható, hogy a sertéshús továbbra is a globális élelmiszerellátás egyik meghatározó állati eredetű fehérjeforrása, ugyanakkor az ágazat növekedési dinamikája az elmúlt időszakban mérséklődött, miközben a termelés és a nemzetközi kereskedelem koncentrációja erősödött. A vizsgálat rámutat arra, hogy a globális és uniós folyamatokat egyaránt érdemben befolyásolják az állatjárványok, a növekvő inputköltségek, a geopolitikai feszültségek, valamint a fogyasztói preferenciák átalakulása. Az Európai Unióban a sertéságazat továbbra is jelentős gazdasági súlyt képvisel, azonban az állatállomány csökkenése, a környezetvédelmi és állatjóléti szabályozás szigorodása, valamint a kereslet mérséklődése közép- és hosszú távon a termelés visszaesését valószínűsíti. Összességében elmondható, hogy a sertéságazat jövőbeli versenyképességét alapvetően az alkalmazkodóképesség, a technológiai innovációk elterjedése, valamint a fenntarthatósági és fogyasztói elvárásokhoz való igazodás határozza meg.
