Abstract

The article is dedicated to the story of a bear feast celebrated in the Turukhan basin in the early 1960s and described half a century later, in 2014, by a participant of this ceremony who was a child by that time. As far as I know, this is the only description of a bear feast among Selkups recorded in Selkup, so its publication might be of interest.
