Absztrakt

In nowadays the human resource management has lot of functions, for example: human resource planning, recruitment, selection, promotion, job evaluation, etc. One of the tendencies of labour market - the increasing of number of older workers - is serious challenge for human resource management. The aging of workforce is a problem, particularly in Europe. The question is: What can do the HR-managers with the older workers? What kind of HR- practice can be effective? In first part of our paper overview of theory of aging, particularly micro- and macro impacts of aging for labour market. In second part of our paper we examine some practices (Hotel Mariott, BMW) which HR-managers used for managing of older workers.
