Absztrakt

The reasons of the changes in the organizational culture can be many. However, if we keep the final goal in mind, it is always the need for the more effective operation, the (more effective) achievement of the organization's set goals. To reach this we need the employees to be satisfied with the organizational culture they work in. Those who work in an appropriate culture are namely able to do better. In my research I examined the organizational culture of prison service institutions in GyörMoson-Sopron County with the help of a questionnaire, along the dimensions of Hofstede. The questionnaire, however alsó involved the characteristics of the survey dealing with the GLOBE organizational culture-research studies. Thus, the questions concerned the present and a desired future state of the organizational culture. So I examined the culture mainly on the level of employees, considering employeesatisfaction. The evaluation between the differences of the current and the desired state reveals the accidental problems regarding the organizational culture. From the values calculated with statistical methods, suggested solutions can be elaborated in the matter of conversion and development of the organizational culture.
