Controlling eszközök alkalmazásának hatása a magyar kkv-k versenyképességére = The effects of use of controlling tools on competitiveness of Hungarian SMES

Absztrakt

Everyone is aware of the significance of small and medium-sized enterprises on Hungarian and European economy. However, serious problems arise with the issue of the competitiveness of enterprises, SMEs face significant challenges. It is no accident that politicians also address this issue, as they represent a significant macroeconomic factors. In this study, the author investigates whether business competitiveness can be improved by the use of appropriate controlling tools. Is it possible to demonstrate a correlation between the number of controlling tools used by businesses and their increased competitiveness? In fact, to what extent are these tools employed and is it possible to show any relationship at all, between the use of such controlling tools and the success of any business? In this context the author attempts to expand his work using primary research, which is focused on the examination of the marketing activities. The present study is limited to the examination of suitable indicators used for the evaluation of marketing activities.
