Absztrakt

The aim of the study is to discover the blockages prevailing in the performance management system of organizations. The research was carried out in profit-oriented organizations in the Northern Great Plain Region; the number of the respondents was 391. My own structured questionnaire was based on the Blockage Questionnaire series of Woodcock and Francis. Blocking factors indicate problem groups hindering the effective operation of the organization, which should be solved during the organizational development. Factors considered as important from the aspect of the research were selected and examined on the basis that how they can be connected to the operation of performance management systems. The examination focuses on blockages relating to management and managers, to problems in different operational fields of the organization and to problems of motivational and incentive tools used in the organization. In profit-oriented organizations the unknown image of the future and by this the uncertainty cause the biggest problem, furthermore there are blockages in connection with problems of setting aims as well.
