Absztrakt

How is the successful manager? How type of managerial style is used? Many of management scientist was thinking about it, and made theirs theories for leadership style. How can we more or less easily examine the leadership style? We call for help a quality management. Nowadays, quality award models, such as the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model are used by a large number of organizations. There are two parts in the model, One is enablers, the other is results. To our study we only need enablers of them. The enablers contain criterias as leadership, policy and strategy, people management, partnerships and resources; last but not least processes. We will studying only the leadership and people management. We have choosen a method of content analysis. This method in my point of view is good for analyse EFQM Excellence model award winners documentation particular for criteria leadership and people management. The purpose of this paper is to show and analyse the connection between leadership style and EFQM model’s criteria leadership.
