Absztrakt

In the discipline of knowledge management validation means the accreditation of prior and experiential learning (APEL). This process enables people of all ages, backgrounds and attitudes to receive formal recognition for skills and knowledge they already possess. Nowadays there are various ways of prior learning assessment, one of them is the job knowledge test. In the first part of this study I introduce the background of the different ways of adult learning, the aim of the validation and the importance of the accreditation of prior learning. In the second part of the study I introduce the term of job knowledge as a part of knowledge management and a typical test development process. The study aims to show that job knowledge tests can be a reliable in the process of APEL and in the personnel selection process.
