Absztrakt

Our research based on empirical survey in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county in May-June
2015.We selected fifteen primary schools, what have high proportion of disadvantaged
students. Firstly, we analysed their school documents, especially pedagogical program,
and after this we have made 17 focus group interviews with (multiply) disadvantaged
youngsters. They were eighth-grade students, aged between 14–16. Before interview, the
students have made conceptual maps about their career choice. We achieved 149 students
all. During the interviews, they knew already, which secondary school they were admitted. Their decision usually was an effect of their peer group. Their schools, and their parents in most cases could not offer considerable assistance. Among them the morality has much greater role, than the written or electronic mediums. In general, their choices were all skills shortages. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of them admitted to secondary schools, where the dropout rate is very high (up to 80%).
