Information For Authors

Analecta Technica Szegedinensia publishes papers which reflects to the latest advancements in engineering related sciences. Journal welcomes mainly

   Original Research Papers,

     but we are also interested in:

   Short Reports – 3-5 page papers where an author can either present an idea with theoretical background but has not yet completed the research needed for a complete paper or preliminary data;

   Book Reviews – comments and critiques;

   Case Studies

All manuscripts must be prepared in English and are subject to a rigorous and fair peer-review process. Manuscripts that cover a simple comparison among treatments, without demonstrating advances to the science beyond treatment effects, may be returned without review. To be acceptable, a manuscript, in addition to being of high quality, must be considered important and relevant by the majority of our readers.

From 2018 to verify originality, your manuscript may be checked by using CrossRef Similarity Check (iThenticate anti-plagiarism software).

Cite references in the text by name and year in parentheses. The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text and that have been published or accepted for publication. To increse the  discoverability of research please give the DOI (if available).

Personal communications and unpublished works should only be mentioned in the text. Do not use footnotes or endnotes as a substitute for a reference list.

 

Submission of a manuscript implies that the manuscript has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication in another journal; that submitted manuscript has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation Authors must state all possible conflicts of interest in the manuscript, including financial, institutional and other relationships that might lead to bias or a conflict of interest.

Analecta Technica Szegedinensia is Open Access for readers; Article Processing Charge (APC) paid by authors or their institutions is not applied in 2022.

Authors must submit their articles to Analecta Technica Szegedinensia through the online submission and review system. Please follow the hyperlink “Make a Submission” on the right and upload all of your manuscript files following the instructions given on the screen.

The given MS Word manuscript template is to be used for preparing manuscripts for submission.
