Absztrakt
This paper aims to present the main nodes of connection between free-trade and consumer protection in correspondence with function of legal regulation. Free-trade can be evaluated as foundation of globalisation. Profits from free movements of goods can be pushed only in that case if trade between different states or regions can be realised pliantly and without obstructions. Following from this statement national legislators balance between opening their markets or closing them moving in the frame of tendencies of world economy. Main indicators and concurrently obstacles of free-trade are conformation, satisfaction and changing of needs of consumers. Regarding the legal regulation this requirement appears in mandatory rules of consumer protection (in the field of public law) and in each contractual relationship between consumers and undertakings (private law aspects of consumer protection law). Analysis of designation and function of legal rules of consumer protection law rests on economic approach and approximation.
