Abstract

In the arena of international system powers present their capabilities: hard and soft elements of power. Through centuries France had beed a prototype of a great power, but the 19. and 20. centuries have tossed this country from one defeat to the other. But France coming back again and again among the great powers. This study is considering both components – hard and soft – of French capabilities to present herself as a real international power.
