Keszthely és környékének demográfiai elemzése 1990-2011 között statisztikai adatok alapján

Abstract

In this paper we deal with the demographic processes of the region of Keszthely, Zala county, especially in the context of suburbanization and dezurbanization. We had been concentrate to the demographic processes around Keszthely between 1990 and 2011 and the in-migration to the villages around Keszthely. The population of Keszthely decreased significantly in this period, while the population of the nearby villages increased. This phenomena is very similar to the main suburban trends in Hungary, but the quantity is much larger than it is usual around a small-medium sized town.
