Abstract

The change of the Hungarian food economy will be reviewed from the regime change to the accession to the EU and after the accession, to the present. I will detail the changes of the food consumption structure and the consequent market challenges. Furthermore, I examine the problems of the Hungarian food economy and their solutions to food production and food trade.
