Abstract

Plain biscuits are less prominent, but nonetheless very important type of biscuits, which are widely used in many households. Their production and consumption has a long history. In our survey we wanted to examine today's 19-25 years old age group's knowledge and consumption habits of plain biscuits. Our survey's speciality is that the examined sample consists of 115 Tourism and Hospitality Management students, who are presumably more interested in cooking and foodstuff than the general population, and may have more extensive knowledge of kitchen or even confectionery use of plain biscuits.
