Abstract

Characterization of the dielectric properties of liquids is essential for manufacturing companies as they can provide information on the quality of finished products. Various methods have been developed to measure these parameters and each method is limited to specific frequencies, materials, applications. DAK-3.5 measuring system used in our tests measures the dielectric properties of the samples based on open-ended coaxial probe technique. During our investigations dielectric parameters of commercially available engine coolants produced by the addition of various additives were examined in the frequency 200-2400MHz, and at 20-50 °C range.
