A mentorrendszer aktualitása a felsőoktatásban = Relevance of mentor system in higher education

Absztrakt
The Labour market expects students who are practice-oriented, ready to work, mature and possess readily usable knowledge from the tertiary education system. Parallel to this, the institutions are competing for continuously decreasing number of students who are the consumers of their courses. This has the effect of forcing the institutions to pay more and more attention to students' demand. In early 2015 with an online qualitative and quantitative survey aimed at university students, we tried to discover not only the students' motivation and studying demands, but also the importance of mutual assistance in knowledge formation, transferring and developing, for example in the form of a mentoring system. According to our hypothesis - although having to struggle with numerous difficulties and new/unknown factors and requirements - the students still prefer the single method to the joint assistance.
