Abstract

The article is dealing with the specificities of the three dimensions of self-evaluation in different working groups. We have chosen this basic psychological concept to the main object of our research, because self-assessment largely determines our work performance and social relationships, so it affects the profits of the company. For these reasons, this notion has become one of the most important area of HR profession.

After formulating the basic assumptions of the research, we created a questionnaire that fits to our assumptions. Statistical analyses were performed along the categories created by the socio-demographic characteristics of the interviewee (age, position and educational qualification). The first part of the study presents the theoretical background of the three dimensions of self-evaluation (self-detection, self-esteem and self-efficacy), than the methods of data processing and the analysis of the research are detailed. After that the primary research results is shown and finally the last section is summarized and explained the basic assumptions.
