Absztrakt
Hungary is one of the most open countries in the world, where the importance of the external relationships has a high importance. This essay analyzes the relevance and the possibilities of the new Hungarian foreign policy, the so called „East opening”. The main goal of this policy is the diversification of foreign relationships of the Hungarian economy. It focuses on 4 regions as important emerging markets of the Hungarian export: the Arabic countries, the CIS, the West Balkan and the Far East. The essay analyses the Hungarian-Chinese relationships, mainly in the field of the tourism. As well known, the number of Chinese tourist is rapidly increasing, and Hungary would like to be one of the most important host countries in Central and Eastern Europe. To be able to reach this goal we have to learn the habits of Chinese tourists. Hungary has several advantages in this competition, such as the good political relationships, the Chinese colony in the country, and the Chinese companies operating in Hungary. To be able to use all these advantages we have to develop an adequate marketing strategy and attractive touristic products for people coming from China (for example the spa).
