Kulturális - közösségi potenciálok a kadarkúti kistérségben

Absztrakt

How do the chances, possibilities, individual and community development functions of the economic utility of cultural/community resources appear in the settlements of a region at a disadvantage? Is there a chance that cultural/community activity can be a significant factor for the improvement of the quality of life? We are looking for the answers for these questions in our study when we present the most important cultural, community characteristics of the region examined and in addition to this we draw up suggestions for development which do not appear or get less emphasis in the documents of the region and which, in our opinion, are worth considering both on the level of the settlements and of the region as well.The theoretical bases of the research are the professional literature about cultural-community regional and settlement development, about the economic and social role of cultural economy, community development, the civilian sector and the analysis of regional documents. We compared the data in the documents and the goals formulated first of all with our information obtained during the interviews with the local actors. We mapped the knowledge of the people who replied about cultural values, professional background, institutional supply, programmes, goods, traditions, valuable knowledge, people with knowledge, famous persons, cultural enterprises, civilian organizations, communities in the field of culture in the interviews. In the field of communities we were interested in the communities, community places, community programmes, the competent persons, the actual and potential engines of the community, the attachment to the settlement known and considered important by the persons questioned. We have asked about problems, possible development plans, idea sin both fields. During our research we have endeavoured to compile some material which is useful for those concerned from a practical point of view as well. We hope that this work will contribute and inspire to start or continue further joint thinking, to improve the quality of life of the people living in the settlements examined through the improvement of the quality of cultural, community life.
