Nemzetkonstrukció a romániai magyar politikai közösség megteremtésében az impériumváltás időszakában

Abstract

The Austro-Hungarian Empire fell apart in 1918. The topic of the esessay is the creation of the Hungarian political community (1,5 million people) in Romania which live in the territories annexed to Romania in 1918-1920. The research question: how does a social group that turns the process of nationbuilding promoted by the state organise itself into a community (as a national minority)? The article analyses the discourses of identity of different political actors during the interwar period. Points of view: the phenomena of subsidiaristic nationalism, regionalism, transformation of the political system and politics of identity.
