Abstract

We’ve introduced new sports to our schools, leisure sports which train and develop both hemispheres of our brains through their technical elements. These are the turul game from Szeged and the Chinese mediball. During practicing of both these sports new behavioral forms can be developed, which has an effect on our own behavior as well. A previously anxious person can relax with the help of music, and as they progress they have a sense of achievement, they feel spiritually strengthened. Learning these creative movements gives an opportunity for the individual to develop their own abilities. Both sports are also competitive sports where singles and doubles compete on a given court, over a net for points. Thus, it is also suitable for the formation of a competitive spirit.
