Abstract

During source-centred history teaching, students carry out complex and varied activities which can improve several fíelds of competence simultaneously. In this paper, there are various specific tasks which can help students to develop their literacy and mathematical competence. Using sources is not only a way to acquire knowledge about history but alsó a tool to improve a particular competence. Other competences can alsó be enhanced by source processing as the teacher can combine various types of sources with numerous tasks.
