Motivation on PE classes
Main Article Content
Abstract
What could PE teachers do in their classes to get children motivated? First of all, based on my experience, both children and parents are highly focused on marks. Secondly, motivation can come from within or from the outside world. So what other sources of motivation might children have? Such sources include the example set by parents, the PE teacher or coach or the endless possibilities one can find in town. Getting children internally motivated is the ultimate long-term goal of the physical education subject because it results in grown-ups enriching their daily lives with the joys and benefits of sports.
