Abstract

The crisis of the education of scientific subjects induced many debates, researches, conferences and publications in our public educational system. One of the main reasons of this issue is the deficit of the student's personal experiments, which is based on my observations as a high school teacher in practice. The contents and amount of the materials in the curriculum and the level of the output requirements do not allow to get the appropriate amount of experiments, the individual monitoring, the formation of the motivation for answering the emerging questions. One of the possible solutions for the above listed problems is the practical application of forest school programs. The program I presented offers the sense of a proper solution for the foundation of educating geography and biology, and for making the inner motivation for self-study and problem solving. Meanwhile, it enables the development of all key competences as well as the scientific ones.
