Abstract
Sharing economy, collaborative consumption, peer-to-peer economy are a relatively new suppliers of products and services traditionally provided by classic and traditional industries. However, this new types of models have disrupted traditional business models and upset the regulatory status quo. According to sharing economy supporters, the currency of this new economy is trust. This paper deals with this statement with the help of literature review. Empirical researches are collected and examined and the aim is to give a view about importance of trust in sharing economy. There are fundamentals in this new economy that refer to the trust elements; however based on this research, these are not strong enough to prove the trust just pretend the trust. In case of Airbnb these elements are the review system (rating system and commenting option), the photo about the host and photo about the accommodation.
