Abstract

The recommendations for the foreign language education of the target group invariably emphasize that the most useful methods in exploring the results are the ones that most resemble how children learn the foreign language. The learning process is, undoubtedly, characterized by the predominance of playful activities in the early teaching of foreign languages so it seems obvious to follow that route in exploring the results, too. This paper addresses the question how to explore and document the results of foreign language teaching in the first three grades in playful, age-appropriate ways.
