Abstract

After Stalin’s death in the slow political détente of the gradually developing and consolidating Kadar-era there was a possibility of creating the Marxist, non-civilian educational psychology that accepted the socialist system.
This is supported by the fact that by the end of the sixties and in the early seventies this special discipline – in the intersection of educational science and psychology – had already had several academic doctors, while there were none in the fifties. In our research we will outline the history of this change. First we will represent the political and educational antecedents and changes of the era, and then the pattern of the candidates and academic doctors specialized in educational psychology, and finally the consequences of the foundation of educational psychology.
