Pictures from the Kádár era The rebirth of the Enyedi photo collection in digital space

Abstract

In this study, we examine the socio-cultural processes that led to a kind of postmodern renaissance of Kádár-era photographs decades after the regime change. 

We believe that the sociological prerequisite for the repositioning of the Enyedi collection was the fact that during the soft dictatorship, young people, today's pensioners, took their place in today's social media space.
