Abstract

The concepts that define our age are globalization, science and technology. Accelerated change affecting the individual causes incongruence and a series of contradictions, one of the possible solutions to which is the development of a new system of abilities. However, based on international measurements, we see that the effectiveness of our education is generally low, while certain social groups increasingly need institutional support to overcome accumulating cultural disadvantages. In my study, I examine the chances of school success of disadvantaged social groups, touching on the social effects of globalism. In this complex social situation, I present the life of female prisoners among vulnerable groups and the change in mentality as a result of education in prison.
